Setup guide: where your data comes from

The Attention Keeper learns from two things you upload: your customer list and your sales history (transactions or invoices). Everything else — the Attention Radar, Attention Debt, promises and reports — is calculated from those.

  1. 1

    Export from your current system

In your accounting, point-of-sale or ecommerce system, export two CSV files: your customer list (names, emails, phone numbers) and your sales history (transactions or invoices with dates and amounts). Most systems do this in a couple of clicks from their reports or export menu.

  2. 2

    Open the importer

In the app, go to Import from the sidebar (or step 5–6 of onboarding). Choose whether you're uploading customers or transactions.

  3. 3

    Upload and map your columns

Drop in your CSV file. The importer shows your columns and lets you match them to the fields The Attention Keeper expects — e.g. your "Email Address" column to our email field.

  4. 4

    Preview before anything is saved

You'll see a preview of the first rows exactly as they'll be imported. Check names, dates and amounts look right, then confirm.

  5. 5

    Let the Radar learn

Once your sales history is in, the Attention Radar learns each customer's normal buying rhythm and starts flagging who needs attention. The more history you upload, the sharper it gets.

  6. 6

    Keep it fresh

Re-export and re-import whenever you like — weekly or monthly works well. Customers and transactions are matched on import, so duplicates won't pile up.

Direct connections to accounting and ecommerce systems aren't available yet — CSV upload is the way in for now. Re-import any time; duplicates are matched and merged automatically.
